What to expect with the treatment at The Skin Lab's Killarney clinic:

As everyone's pain thresholds are different, this is a difficult question to answer - but we would say there is aery minimal discomfort and the procedure is not painful.

After the procedure, there are visible papules on the skin which usually go down after several hours but can last up to 24 hours.

You may also experience:

Redness of the skin

Slight discomfort

Tenderness

Slight bruising

Swelling

Generally 3 treatments 1 week apart are recommended.

Maintenance treatments may be required every 2-6 months.
